- Lookin At Lucky - waiting for his three-year-old debut, should be worth the wait
- Winslow Homer - the Holy Bull time doesn't matter, the way he won does
- Conveyance and Dryfly - both will need to convince me they can go longer
- Rule - just might be the first Derby winner to go through Vinton, LA
- Dublin - can the Coach get back to his Derby winning ways with Hopeful Stakes winner?
That's all for now...check out February' s list on or about the 15th.
Tony BB,
ReplyDeleteWINSLOW HOMER is a talented dude but not the best mover so I'm leery of another UNBRIDLED'S SONG offspring on the Derby trail.
CONVEYANCE will reportedly try dirt next out but I'm concerned that he lugged in so badly in the San Rafael the final 1/8. If it was fatigue, he'll be double tough on dirt. There may be a little something brewing healthwise with him.
DUBLIN off the surgery...it's too quick isn't it? Plus, he ran two races when he was injured but didn't show it. He'll have a memory of that pain so he's a toss for me despite his Hopeful win. Plus, he ran much slower in that race than HOT DIXIE CHICK did in the Spinaway.
I love LOOKIN AT LUCKY but he's got to learn how to finish off his competition, perhaps the blinkers will help. I hope they take him out of Cali, I don't trust the condition of the Pro-ride after all the rain it took, canceled racing days.
Looking forward to the list!
